Troubleshooting ► I can't record any audio

Symptom: The Record button is lit and the transport is moving, but nothing is being recorded.

You may not have selected the correct recording device. Go to Edit > Preferences > Audio - Driver Settings and make sure Record Timing Master is set to the input you are using. Make sure Playback Timing Master is set to the same device that your speakers or headphones are plugged into.

Press SONAR’s Record button (not the Play button).
